Dr. Zoë Ramangano, VMD
Dr. Zoë was born in Trinidad, Colorado and spent her childhood in New Mexico. She graduated from Pennsylvania State University with a BS in Animal Bioscience and an honors degree in Veterinary Science in 2000. She received her VMD from the University of Pennsylvania in 2005.
She then completed a rotating surgery and medicine internship at the VCA West Los Angeles Animal Hospital before joining the VCA West Los Angeles staff in 2006. She was very excited to join the staff of Village Vet in 2012.
Dr. Zoë has received advanced training in dentistry and she is also certified in veterinary acupuncture. She thoroughly enjoys integrating acupuncture and cold laser therapy into her routine practice. She has been complimented many times on her bedside manner and truly values the long term relationships that she builds with her patients and their parents. Dr. Zoë is the chief veterinarian for Angel City Pitbulls and is a strong proponent for the positive representation of these adorable dogs. She has three dogs (Juniper, Ruby, and Loretta) and two cats (Duma and Nubia). She proudly lives in West Adams in a historically preserved craftsman-Tudor bungalow with her wife, daughter, and menagerie of pets.
